Is it possible to know if your antivirus is working properly............
Well, here's one trick that will enable you to know if your antivirus is working...

Goto start, Run, Type notepad
and write the following:

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*


now save it with extension .exe ie for example you can save it with name "testmyvirus.exe"

If your antivirus is working fine than your antivirus will soon detect virus.....

It is not harmful to try so don't fear..
